How to Deactivate Your Yik Yak Account: A social networking software called Yik Yak allows users who have signed up to create and observe debate topics within a five mile radius. From several of our users, we’ve received emails requesting that they remove their accounts from the Yik Yak app. After researching this subject, it became clear that users were cancelling their accounts from the app because of email spam or because they had stopped using the application altogether.
How To Delete Yik Yak Account
It is advised that, if you are deleting this account due to email spam or a newsletter, you either label the email as spam or unsubscribe from the newsletter by clicking the unsubscribe link provided at the end of the email. If you have another justification, I’ll walk you through the process of removing your account from the Yik Yak app.

Because I was sick of the criticism and harsh remarks, I deactivated my Yik Yak account. It was a poisonous environment where people would write derogatory remarks about others. I deactivated my account, and I’m happy to say that I don’t miss it at all.
Yik Yak Account Cancellation through Website
- Log into your Yik Yak account by first visiting www.yikyak.com.
- After logging in, click “Settings.”
- Select the “Delete Account” option that you see after scrolling down the page.
- To confirm the action, you will be prompted. To complete the procedure, click once more on the notification that says “Delete Account.”
Yik Yak Account Cancellation through Application
- Log into your application account.
- Select each of the three lines. The screen’s upper left corner contains it.
- Next, select the ‘Your Account’ page.
- Click the ‘Deactivate Your Account’ tab that appears.
- You will then be prompted to validate the procedure. Click “Yes, I want to deactivate my account” to do so.
You are unable to access your account once it has been deleted.
