KCET Notification

Every year, an offline version of the KCET test is given. The test has a multiple-choice style and has a 320-minute time limit. Each of the three subject areas Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics has 60 questions total on the 180-question test. The class XII curriculum served as the basis for these questions. For the exam, there is no deductible scoring.

Eligibility Requirements for KCET Exam

  • Candidates must have passed or be scheduled to pass their class XII exam from a recognized authority or board.
  • For class XII, students are required to take Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • To pass the class XII test, students needed a PCM/PCB score of at least 45%. Restrictions are relaxed by 5% for students in designated categories.

Fees for the KCET

The following fees apply to applicants from Karnataka: General candidates: Rs 500; Women, SC, and ST candidates: Rs 250; applicants from outside of Karnataka: Rs 750; and Foreign candidates: Rs 5000.
