Application form, deadlines, requirements for the 2024 HPCET The Common Entrance Test for Undergraduate and Graduate Admissions will be held in 2024, according to HP Technical University. For admission to a variety of undergraduate and post-undergraduate programs like B.Tech., M.Tech., B.Pharmacy, B.Pharmacy (Ayurveda), M.Pharmacy, MCA, and MBA in the affiliated colleges/institutions, university schools, and off-campus, apply now for HPCET 2024.

Subject to meeting the minimal educational requirements, admission to all programmes will be granted based on performance in the National Level Entrance Test, HPCET-2024, including rank and/or marks.

HPCET Eligibility Criteria 2024

  • Check below the course-wise eligibility criteria for HPCET 2024:

Undergraduate courses:

B.Tech. : those must have obtained at least 45% overall (or 40% for those from the reserved category) in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Technical Vocational Subjects from a recognized board while passing (or appearing) in their class 12th or equivalent exam.

B.Pharma: Those who have completed their class 12th exam, or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, and Technical Vocational subjects with at least 45% marks (40% for applicants from the reserved category) in the sum of these courses are eligible. Candidates in the flesh can also apply. As of December 2024, applicants must be at least 17 years old.

B.Pharma (Ayurveda): applicants must pass their 10+2 or equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology and receive a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in these disciplines (40% for applicants from restricted categories).

Advanced academic programs:

M.Tech: A passing grade of at least 50% overall (45% for students from the restricted category) in the corresponding BE/B.Tech program from an accredited university is necessary.

Candidates for the M.Pharma program must hold a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or a degree comparable from a recognized university and must have earned a minimum of 50% overall marks (45% for candidates from the restricted category).

Anyone who has earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in any stream with a minimum of 50% (45% for applicants from underrepresented groups) in the overall grade is eligible to apply for the MBA program.

MCA: Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in any stream with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50% (45% for students from underrepresented groups). Additionally required is the study of mathematics at the 10+2 level.

Application fee:

  • For B.Tech, B.Pharma, B.Pharma (Ayurveda), MBA, MCA, M.Tech and M.Pharma: Rs. 1550/- for general candidates and Rs. 1400/- for SC/ ST/ BPL candidates
  • For B.Pharma & B.Pharma (Ayurveda) both or B.Tech & B.Pharma both: Rs. 3100/- for general candidates and Rs. 2800/- for SC/ ST/ BPL candidates

HPCET 2024 Application Form

  • On the official website www.himtu.ac.in in the month of March 2024, the HPCET online application form will be made available.
  • Candidates must give their basic contact and educational information on the application form.
  • In the application form, candidates must also scan and upload their photo and signature.
  • Online submission of the application form and the requisite application fee is possible if it is complete in every way.
  • A debit card, credit card, net banking, or PNB Challan can be used to pay the application cost offline or online.
  • The payment information must be provided into the application form in the event that fees are sent by Challan.
  • The candidates should print out their completed form submission after submitting it in order to save it for future use.
