The candidate must have passed the Qualifying Examination Le., the “10+2” examination, with Physics, Mathematics, and one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Technical Vocational Subject as compulsory subjects, with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all three of the aforementioned subjects.
Must have received a minimum of 45% (or 40% for candidates from categories with restrictions, such as SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in the combined marks of the aforementioned three subjects.
A minimum of 30 points must have been earned in English on the “10+2” test.
The relevant Central Government or State Government must acknowledge the specified Qualifying Examination Board.
