Meghalaya Police Service Eligibility Criteria: Meghalaya Public Service Commission’s  Meghalaya Police Service Exam Eligibility Details are given below….

Eligibility Conditions:

Age Restrictions: He/she must be at least 21 years old but not older than 27 years old. For scheduled tribes and castes, the upper age restriction may be relaxed by five years.

He/she must possess a degree from a university in India that was established by an act of the Indian Parliament or a state legislature, as well as one from a foreign university that has been approved by the government of Meghalaya.

Physical Requirements: Candidates must meet basic physical requirements and must take a physical efficiency exam (PET), which is described below.-

 (i) Minimum Height Requirement:

Male candidates: 157 centimeter for (ST)
162 centimeter for others

Female candidates: 152 centimeter for (ST)
157 centimeter for others

About Scale of Pay: 

Candidates who are chosen for the aforementioned positions will be compensated according to the state government’s regulations with the following pay scale, broken down by category:-

1. The Category-I & II Posts will receive pay scale of Rs. 14,100/- to Rs. 27,510/-
2. The Category-III & IV Posts will receive pay scale of Rs. 8,300/- to Rs. 16,270/-
3. The Category-V Post will be paid Rs. 6,500/- to Rs. 12,700/-
