Physical Efficiency Test for Assam Police Recruitment 2024
Male Candidates :
- 1.Race: Those that qualify in the PST will compete in a 3.2 km race that must be finished in 14 minutes (840 seconds).
- 2. Long Jump: A minimum of 335 cm is required for the long jump (3 opportunities will be provided, and the longest legitimate leap rounded off to the closest centimetre will be used for scoring).
Female Candidates :
- 1. Race: Those that qualify in the PST will compete in a 1600-meter race that must be finished in under eight minutes.
- 2. Long Jump: A minimum of 244 cm is required for long jump (3 attempts will be allowed, and the longest legitimate leap rounded off to the closest centimetre will be accepted for marking).
Medical Standards / Medical Examination
General:
Candidates must not squint their eyes and have excellent colour vision. Varicose veins will be treated as a temporary disqualification. He or she must be in good bodily and mental health. He or she must be free of physical deformities and diseases such as diabetes, hernia, piles, respiratory disorders, or any other condition that may interfere with the efficient execution of responsibilities.
Eye Sight :
Without correction, far vision should be 6/6 in at least one eye and no worse than 6/9 in the other. Near eyesight should be OK.
