AP EdCET Notification

The proper operation of the test is the Andhra University’s responsibility on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education. Many applicants submit applications each year for this test. AP EDCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

• 1) Indian nationality is required for candidates.
• 2) The applicant must meet the requirements of the AP Educational Institutions Order 1974 Regulation of Admission regarding their local and non-local status.
• 3. Candidates with a degree in B.A., B.Sc., B.Sc. (Home Science), B.Com, B.C.A., or B.B.M. with a minimum of 50% of the marks required are eligible. 40% of the marks go to SC/ST/BC/PH.
• 4) Candidates with a B.E./B. Tech degree in mathematics and physics are also eligible.
• 5) Minimum Age Requirement: Applicants must be at least 19 years old.

Andhra Pradesh EDCET 2024 Application Fee

Applicants submit the required amount for their forms, as mentioned in the notification, whose details are given as: –

• For All category candidates- Rs. 650/-
• For BC- Rs 500/-
• For SC/ST candidates- Rs. 450/-

AP EDCET 2024 Exam Pattern

• Mode of exam: Offline mode
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Total no. of questions: 150 questions
• Total marks: 150 marks
• Each question carries 1 mark.
• No negative marking
• Part-A will be General English and Part-B will be General Knowledge and Teaching Aptitude.
• Candidate must choose a subject for Part-C of question paper from mathematics, physical sciences, biological sciences, social studies, English subjects. 

AP EDCET Application Form 2024

On the official website, you may access the application form. The steps listed below can be used by candidates to complete their application forms:

• The official webpage.
• The application cost must be paid by candidates.
• Before making a payment, candidates must enter the requested information, including their name, date of birth, primary phone number, secondary phone number, email address, etc.
• Click “Initiate Payment” after filling out the aforementioned information.
• Candidates will receive their payment ID and can check their payment status after completing a successful fee payment.
• Candidates must now correctly fill out all the fields that are asked for information and submit all the necessary documents.
• Candidates must click the submit button once they have completed filling out the application form in full.
• Lastly, candidates can take the printout of the duly filled application form.
